In short
Meraki support comes with an active Meraki licence. Open a case from the dashboard's Support Center (the ? icon, top right), choose a callback with Call Me Now, or use Call in to see the regional phone numbers. Most Meraki hardware has a lifetime warranty that ends at the product's end-of-support date. Forever Systems is a Cisco Partner and can raise and follow up cases for you, as agreed at quote.

Support included with Meraki licensing
Meraki support is tied to licensing. Cisco states that all current Meraki products require valid licensing to operate, and an active licence keeps each device managed in the dashboard and covered by Meraki support.
Meraki's subscription licence compliance documentation shows what happens when that lapses: after the grace period, management of the affected networks is disabled. Devices keep their last configuration and keep forwarding traffic, but admins lose configuration, monitoring, customer-initiated firmware updates and support until licensing is back in order.
So the first support check is a licensing one. Our pages on Meraki licence expiry and Meraki licence renewal explain the details for each licensing model, and the Meraki licences page lists every licence code.
Hardware warranty is separate: Meraki's own article reminds customers that "a warranty is not the same as a license".
How to open a case with Meraki support
- Sign in to the Meraki dashboard with an admin account for the affected organisation or network.
- Open the Support Center from the ? icon at the top right of the dashboard.
- Choose the product or platform the issue relates to, then describe the problem.
- Set the severity. Meraki uses severity levels 1 to 4. For severity 1 or 2, Meraki asks you to choose one of the call options rather than submitting online.
- Watch for the confirmation email. Replying to it updates the case.
If you cannot sign in to the dashboard at all, Meraki provides a web form for opening a case without dashboard access. Lost two-factor authentication is a common reason; our Meraki dashboard login page covers that route.
To speed things up, Meraki asks for:
- the scope of the issue (one user, one site, every site) and how often it happens
- when it started, and any related cases
- test results such as logs, screenshots and packet captures
- any workaround in place and the business impact
Meraki support contact options
| Option | How it works |
|---|---|
| Online case | Opened from the dashboard's Support Center, with a confirmation email you can reply to |
| Call Me Now | Creates a case and asks the next available Meraki support engineer to phone you |
| Call in | Shows the regional Meraki support phone numbers in the dashboard, with a link to the full list |
| No dashboard access | A web form for opening a case when you cannot sign in |
| Get help | A dashboard widget that opens Meraki's AI Assistant for quick answers |
Looking for the Meraki support number? Meraki lists its regional support numbers inside the dashboard rather than on its public support article: open the Support Center and choose Call in. Before you phone, have your customer number and support passcode to hand; for technical issues with an organisation or network, Meraki verifies that you are an administrator with the right privileges.
Before raising a case about something that affects everything at once, check status.meraki.net, Meraki's public page for real-time and historical system performance.

Warranty and hardware replacement
| Product family | Meraki warranty |
|---|---|
| MS and CS switches | Lifetime, ending at the product's end-of-support date |
| Indoor MR and CW access points | Lifetime, ending at the product's end-of-support date |
| MX security appliances and Z-series teleworker gateways | Lifetime, ending at the product's end-of-support date |
| MG cellular gateways | Lifetime, ending at the product's end-of-support date |
| Outdoor access points and accessories | 1 year |
| MV first-generation and MV2 cameras, MT sensors | 3 years |
| MV second-generation and later cameras | 5 years |
Warranty starts on the date the hardware ships to the original purchaser. Check the warranty article in Meraki's documentation for your exact product before relying on the table.
Replacements (RMA). If a device fails and basic troubleshooting does not fix it, contact Meraki support. Support confirms the hardware fault before issuing a return. Only organisation admins (read-only or full) and network admins with write access for the affected network can request one. Meraki says advance replacements usually ship within one business day on a best-effort basis, and the faulty unit must be returned within 10 calendar days of the replacement arriving. If a device is dormant (grey status) and not connected in the dashboard, Meraki asks for a photo of the device showing its serial number.
Support for end-of-life devices
Meraki products follow a published end-of-life process. The end-of-sale (EOS) date is the last day to order a product; the end-of-support (EOST) date, typically five years after end of sale, is the last day Cisco Meraki supports it.
Between those dates, a device with an active licence continues to be supported, although new firmware can stop before the end-of-support date. At end of support, the lifetime warranty ends too. The dashboard's inventory can show end-of-sale and end-of-support dates for every device you own.
Our Meraki end of life guide explains the dates in detail. When it is time to replace equipment, shop Meraki access points, switches and security appliances by exact order code.

Self-help: documentation and community
Much of what Meraki support is asked can be answered from Meraki's own resources:
- documentation.meraki.com: configuration guides, deployment guides, licensing articles and the end-of-life list
- the Cisco Community (Meraki area): a forum where Meraki users and community experts discuss configuration questions
- status.meraki.net: live and historical status of the Meraki cloud, with RSS and Atom feeds
- Get help in the dashboard: Meraki's AI Assistant
Our own guides cover the topics people ask about most: the Meraki dashboard, Meraki setup, Meraki licensing models and multi-site networks.

Working with us on Cisco Meraki
Forever Systems helps organisations plan, buy and run cloud-managed networks built on Cisco Meraki wireless, switching, security and SD-WAN.
- Plan the network: we look at your sites, users and existing kit, and can arrange a wireless site survey before anything is ordered
- Choose the right products: access points, switches, security appliances, cellular gateways, sensors and cameras sized to what each site needs, rather than a one-size bundle
- Licensing made clear: we explain co-termination, per-device and subscription licensing, check renewal dates and quote the licences you need
- Deployment help: we can set up the Meraki dashboard, organisations, networks, templates and policies, and help move you from older or on-premise kit
- Ongoing help: changes, licence renewals and reviews as your sites grow, with the scope agreed at quote
Ask us for a quote and we will confirm what is included for your organisation.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Meraki support number?
Meraki lists its regional support phone numbers inside the dashboard: open the Support Center from the ? icon at the top right and choose Call in. You can also choose Call Me Now to have a Meraki support engineer phone you. Have your customer number and support passcode ready.
Is Meraki support included with the licence?
Yes. An active Meraki licence keeps the device managed in the dashboard and supported. Under subscription licensing, Meraki's compliance documentation says that once licensing lapses past the 30-day grace period, admins lose configuration, monitoring, customer-initiated firmware updates and support for the affected networks; other licensing models have their own rules, explained on our licence expiry page.
How do I contact Cisco Meraki support?
Sign in to the Meraki dashboard, open the Support Center from the ? icon and open a case for the relevant product, or use Call Me Now or Call in. If you cannot sign in, Meraki provides a web form for opening a case without dashboard access.
Does Meraki support end-of-life devices?
Yes, until the end-of-support date. A device with an active licence is supported up to its end-of-support date, typically five years after end of sale, although new firmware can stop earlier. The lifetime warranty also ends at the end-of-support date.
Who can request a Meraki hardware replacement?
Organisation admins with read-only or full access, and network admins with write access to the affected network. Meraki support confirms the fault after basic troubleshooting before issuing the replacement.
